May 21, 2020 – Possum Kingdom Lake’s two Convenience Stations are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic; however, the BRA has planned two upcoming convenience days.
Caudill Station (PK West Side) - June 17, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Lange Station (PK East Side) – June 18, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
For your safety, please remain in your vehicle. Our attendant will:
- Obtain your information
- Create your ticket
- Take your payment
- Direct the driver where to unload

April 8, 2020 - The Brazos River Authority has made some adjustments in
operations as we navigate, along with the rest of the world, the national pandemic that
Boat ramps at all three of the BRA-owned and operated reservoirs - Possum Kingdom Lake, Lake Granbury, and Lake Limestone – remain open to the public for use to access the lake.
However, all parks at each three reservoirs are closed to the public.
Normal access to the river for recreational activities has not been changed.
The Brazos River Authority is encouraging everyone to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations to maintain at least six feet distance from other people even on the reservoirs
All BRA Lake Offices are currently closed to the public but are still operational.
If you need to reach someone at one of the Lake Offices regarding permits, payments, or anything else, please call 1-888-922-6272 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
The BRA’s Central Office in Waco is closed with all personnel working from their homes. As with our Lake Offices, operations continue remotely. If you require information or contact with the BRA Central Office, please call 888-922-6272 and leave a message on the main voicemail box. Your call will be returned promptly.
The Brazos River Authority has taken all necessary precautions to protect our employees, including requiring those deemed essential personnel for critical infrastructure, to adhere to the social distancing protocols recommended by the CDC.
The 50th Anniversary of Lake Granbury & DeCordova Bend Dam plus the 5th annual Water Safety Awareness Day originally scheduled for May 2 has been postponed.
Tri-Gro compost and mulch sales at the Temple-Belton Regional Wastewater System facility have been suspended until further notice.
Possum Kingdom Lake’s two Convenience Stations are closed until further notice.
