The Possum Kingdom Lake airport requires maintenance work that will result in temporary closure of the airport and the adjacent parking areas.

Maintenance will take place beginning April 15, 2024 with an anticipated end date of April 26, 2024. The airport will be closed to all traffic, aviation and vehicular, during that time.

Contractors will be grouting and sealing cracks as well as re-striping all surfaces. 

Every attempt will be made to minimize the time the vehicle parking area, runway, taxiways and ramp are closed. We appreciate your patience as we strive to maintain and enhance the Possum Kingdom Airport.
