THIS WEEKEND AT POSSUM KINGDOM LAKE

Possum Kingdom Lake will be the site of the 4th Annual TRIFECTA Triathlon this coming Sunday, September 20.  The three-pronged endurance competition will be held on water near the YMCA Camp Grady Spruce, surrounding county roads including Park Road 36, the South D&D Park areas and the BRA Hike and Bike Trails.  

As part of the event, parking at the upper portions of South D & D Public Use Area will be closed from 5 p.m. Friday, September 18 – Sunday at noon.  Park Road 36 from FM 2951 will be closed to traffic Sunday 7 a.m. – noon.  For additional information on the TRIFECTA event, contact the PK Chamber of Commerce at 940-779-2424.
