Have you ever thought that it would be nice to have an environmental expert come speak to your garden club? Or did you think it would be cool to have a lake ranger speak to your class about water safety?
The BRA offers a Speakers Bureau free of charge to community organizations. The BRA will provide staff to address a variety of water-related topics to schools, civic groups, garden clubs, chambers of commerce and other community organizations.
Groups frequently request speakers for topics on:
- water planning
- water and wastewater treatment
- water conservation
- water safety
- flood management
- future planning
If your group or organization is interested in inviting a speaker to an upcoming event, please contact us at least three weeks before your event date. Our speakers come from various departments and locations within the Brazos River Basin.
