Sterling C. Robertson Dam at Lake Limestone

Lake Limestone's dam gate replacement project kicks off

For decades, the floodgates installed at the Sterling C. Robertson Dam have held back more than 203,000 acre-feet of water, creating a fishing mecca and major water supply reservoir we know as Lake Limestone. But after 44 years, wear has prompted the full replacement of the dam's five gates to continue safely doing its job on the Navasota River. Read more here.
