On April 18, 2024, a brush maintenance project will begin at Possum Kingdom Lake and continue for several weeks. 

The project will take place on and near Frontier Unit Road and will temporarily close the PK Hike and Bike Trail including the trailhead and restroom, from Hamilton Drive to Sandy Beach. The area will reopen when the project is complete. For questions, contact the PK Lake Office at 940-779-2321.
